The theme of the event was: “Citizenship by Investment: Tax Benefits and Comfortable Conditions for Doing Business”. Among the invited speakers were partners of Aravana Capital Management: Vice President of Apex Capital Partners Sofia Silina and Head of Montis by Splendid in Russia and the CIS Svetlana Thomson.

The first part of the meeting was devoted to investment citizenship programs and real estate investments.

Sofia Silina presented the investment citizenship programs of the Caribbean and Montenegro. Sofia also touched the issues of changes regarding the procedures for obtaining citizenship, taxation and property management in the laws of the Caribbean and Montenegro.

Svetlana Thomson, Head of Montis by Splendid in Russia and the CIS, disclosed information about the project in Montenegro, and also presented step-by-step instructions for obtaining citizenship. Montis Mountain Resort, managed by the renowned hotel management Splendid, is one of the authorized projects in Montenegro under the Citizenship by Investment Program.

The Montenegrin citizenship program is now virtually the only European citizenship program. It is also the fastest passport program in the world! The term for issuing a passport is 4-6 months. And the most important advantage of the Montenegrin passport is that after Montenegro joins the European Union in 2025, the investor will have a full-fledged passport of an EU citizen, which makes it possible to live without restrictions in any EU country, study and work. At the end of her speech, Svetlana answered questions from the audience.

The final part of the event was made by Irina Timofeeva, Head of Business Development at Aravana Capital Management. Irina held a conversation with clients and partners on the formation of an optimal investment portfolio.
